St. Joseph Diner is a full service soup kitchen offering hot meals to those in need every day of the year.
We serve breakfast and dinner to the men who live in the St. Joseph’s Men’s Shelter and the St. Michael’s Center for Veterans. We also serve lunch to the general public every day from 11-11:50am. All of these meals require volunteers to prep, cook, serve, and clean up afterwards.
Without help from generous community members like you, St. Joseph Diner would not be able to reach those in need as effectively or hospitably.
Therefore, we have several opportunities for individuals and groups to volunteer with the Diner.
Breakfast volunteers usually serve from 6:30-8:30am.
Lunch volunteers usually serve from 10:30am-12:30pm.
Dinner volunteers usually serve from 3:30-6:00pm.
If the above times do not work within your schedule, please note that the Diner is staffed from 6:30am-12:30pm and from 2:30-6:00pm every day, so volunteers are welcome to schedule to come during those times as desired.
St. Joseph Diner can accommodate up to 10 volunteers at a time. The number in parenthesis next to the name of the group indicates the number of volunteers in the group. The groups listed below can be identified as breakfast groups (brown), lunch groups (blue), or dinner groups (yellow).
