Acadiana Catholic posted a photo and a small write up of the donation made to Lafayette Catholic Service Centers. 

 

Hopefest is a family event held annually in Parc International, downtown.  The event is sponsored by the junior class to raise funds for the charity of their choice to share with the STM Options Program, which provides scholarships to students with down syndrome to attend St. Thomas More.  The 2011 junior class chose Lafayette Catholic Service Centers; the students worked in St. Joseph Diner and spent time with the families at the New Life Center leading up to the event, so they could learn more about their chosen charity.
